Herbert Lewis Floyd Jr

Herbert (Herb) Lewis Floyd Jr., age 85, our beloved father passed away on May 29, 2016. Herb was a decorated Korean War combat Marine and a true patriot. Over the years, Herb dedicated much of his time as a pilot in the Civil Air Patrol. He helped protect our nation as an employee of the Sandia National Laboratories for 35 years.
Herb was a committed father and is survived by his children, Kenneth Floyd, David Floyd, Michael Floyd, Susan Marquez, and Robert Floyd. He also leaves many cherished grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, June 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University. Interment will take place on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 9:45 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 North Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
