Henry Harte

Henry Harte (Colonel Hank), age 93, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Milli, of Albuquerque; his children, Nancy Jenkins of Albuquerque, Andi (Ross) Schoonover of Waterloo, IA, and Connie (Bob) Geist of Santa Rosa, CA. He has 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Hank was preceded in death by his parents and 10 siblings; son, Dr. Bob Bussey, and daughter, Gigi Benton. Hank lived his life to the fullest and was always cracking a joke and making people laugh and smile. He loved to go on cruises with his wife, whom he loved and dearly adored. He was a woodworker in his spare time and made toys for all ages and donated many of them to needy children's organizations. He was very proud to serve his county as a pilot in World War II. A private memorial service will be held for the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church, ELCA, at 1100 Indian School Rd.
