Our mom was an adventurer, life traveler, independent and strong woman.
Hellen was well educated in life as well as completed business school and obtained her paralegal license. She was definitely a jack of all trades, she could fix anything! She loved to laugh, do crosswords and puzzles of many kinds. Hellen loved her lists and always had a clipboard nearby. She valued sincerity and loved cougars, butterflies, cats and the mountains.
She will greatly be missed. She also really knew how to stretch a dollar. It is amazing how she supported us kids on such little income. Mom loved inside jokes and would refer back to them unexpectedly for a good laugh.
Mom was an avid studier of God's Word and a woman of faith. She had a verse on a sticker she displayed as she moved from place to place. It is Joshua 24:15. It says, "As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord." Hellen is in heaven dancing and singing with the angels. Rest well, Mom. You will forever be loved, remembered, treasured and missed.
