Helen Kerregan Robens Stach, 78, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 17, 2016 after a brief illness.
She was born on May 17, 1937 and raised in Dayton, OH. She graduated from Albuquerque's Highland High School in 1955. She met her loving husband, Dick Stach, while working at BCMC's medical laboratory. They recently celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary. She came to know the Lord in 1981 and lived a life committed to Christ. Helen was passionate about pro-life causes and loved to crochet baby blankets for Care Net Pregnancy Center.
Helen's love of dancing began as a small child and continued throughout her life. Her Greek culture and heritage were important to her. She loved outings and traveling with her family. Helen loved being the matriarch!
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Viola Kerregan; and by her brother, Johnny Kerregan. She is survived by her sister, Sultana Rounds.
Helen is survived by the love of her life and her husband, Dick Stach; and their children, Teresa (Karl) Moedl, Paula (Kelly) O'Neil, Denise (Kyle) Osborne and Dean (Cindy) Robens. She is survived by her grandchildren, Cherie O'Neil Zimmerman, Erin O'Neil, Briana Robens, Amanda Jumawan, Garrett Moedl, Dean Paul Robens, Jenna Morris, Zach Baiamonte, Trevor Osborne, Silas Robens; and great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren; and extended family.
Friends and family may visit FRENCH - Wyoming Thursday, April 21, 2016, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Services will be held Friday, April 22, 2016, 9:00 a.m., also at FRENCH - Wyoming. A celebration of her life will follow and will be announced at the services. Interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Care Net Pregnancy Center (carenetabq.org) or UNM Cancer Center (cancer.unm.edu).
