SMITH, HELEN MARIA
Age 88, a resident of Rio Rancho, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012. She is survived by son, Robert L. Saviteer and wife, Debra Rio Rancho; granddaughter, Elizabeth Saviteer and husband, William Walters of Hoboken, NJ, John McGrath and wife, Teri of Colorado; three stepchildren, Valery Shambo of Rio Rancho, Joseph R. Headrick of Denver and Patty Kasper of North Carolina. Helen was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph L. Headrick and Norman Smith. Helen was born in 1923 in Heerlen, Netherlands. She came to America in 1946 as a war bride. Following her husband, Joe's death in 1995. She met and married Norman in 1996 and lived in Broomfield, CO before moving to Rio Rancho in November 2003 following Norman's death in 2003. Private services will be held at a later date.
