Helen C. Rosenthal died October 25, 2015. Born in Illinois October 28, 1917, Helen moved to New Mexico in 1946 when she married Julius Rosenthal. An RN, she worked at the Albuquerque Blood Bank for many years and was a 20 year volunteer with Meals on Wheels.
Helen and Julius were Balloon Fiesta supporters and huge UNM Lobo fans. Very few football or basketball games were without their support. Helen was an avid bridge player, and loved to cook and travel. She was preceded in death by Julius in 2002.
Cremation has taken place. A special thank you to the Assisted Living staff at Montebello as well as to Ambercare for their hospice comfort care.
