Hector Lucero, 73, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away unexpectedly after a short illness.
Hector is survived by wife Lupe; his six children, David wife Nadine, Sharon husband Armando, Debbie husband Teddy, Jennifer husband Carlos, Marie fiancé Phillip, and Anthony wife Michelle. Hector is also survived by his 18 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Hector was the heart and soul of his family. He lived for his wife and children. He enjoyed spending time with them, cooking his famous BBQ, loved to listen to music, and spend time at the cabin that he built with his sons and son in-laws. Hector loved the outdoors, going fishing, hunting, and camping. He was a diehard Yankee and Dallas Cowboys fan. He was always ready for the next adventure he would have with his sons. Hector was a loyal hardworking man that was dedicated to his family. He was a man of great faith. Hector was deeply loved by his family and is leaving behind a lot of beautiful memories and a great legacy. Our family is heartbroken, he was taken too soon but we know God had other plans for him. We will never forget the strong, wise, courageous yet caring and loving man you were. May God open the gates of his kingdom for you and may you ride in with all the grace, until we meet again.
