In Loving Memory of Hector Hidalgo

February 7, 1941 – March 16, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Hector Hidalgo, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He left this world on March 16, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering dedication to his family. Though we grieve his loss, we find comfort in knowing that he is now reunited with his beloved wife, Gloria Hidalgo, who passed before him. Their love was timeless, and now they are together once more.

Hector was the proud father of eight children: Rosa Prieto, Leticia Hidalgo (Joel Vargas), Arturo Hidalgo (Gisela Hidalgo), Héctor Manuel Hidalgo, Alonzo Hidalgo, Josefina Hidalgo, Jaime Hidalgo (Martha Hidalgo), and Manuel Hidalgo. He was blessed with 26 grandchildren and many, many great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly.

A man of great wisdom and kindness, Hector worked tirelessly to provide for his family, always leading with integrity and a generous heart. His presence was a source of strength and warmth, and his love will continue to shine through the lives of those he touched.

Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. We take solace in knowing that he is at peace, watching over us alongside Gloria.

A celebration of Hector’s life will be held at French Funeral Home on March 27, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring his memory.

Rest in peace, dear Hector. Your love and legacy will never be forgotten.
