Heather Jean Tewawina, 42, Albuquerque NM, passed away at 12:55 A.M., Monday, September 11, 2017, from unexpected health problems.
Heather was born November 1, 1974, in Albuquerque NM. She graduated from Highland High School then began here medical career as a surgical coordinator. She was a life-long resident of New Mexico who loved to travel. Heather was a talented artist and painter with a specialty in hand crafted cards. Heather was a fantastic gourmet cook and shared her gifts with everyone. She loved to dance and was a social butterfly. Heather had a warm and friendly smile that gave you a feeling of comfort.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Karen and Steve Amond; her father, Franklin Gashweseoma; her great-aunt, Anna Beardsley and husband Gordon; her sister, Janelle Gashweseoma-Lisinski and husband James; her niece Mythra Lisinski; her aunt Sue Tewawina and cousins Nabahe Tewawina “Bo”, Arrow Tewawina, and Emma Ball and a host of loved family and friends.
A viewing will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH – Westside, followed by Funeral Services at 12:00 p.m. and a reception at 1:00 p.m.
