Heather Lynn Baures

Age 30, a resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, November 12, 2013. She is survived by mother, Barbara J. Cole of Fergus, ON; father, Dale M. Baures of Parker, CO; brother, Benjamin J. Baures; grandmother Annette Baures. Heather was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather and step-father. Heather attended Ponderosa High School in Parker, CO. She did her undergraduate work at Adams State College in Alamosa, CO and completed a Master's program in History, The University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH. She was a lover of President John Adams. She was a member of the Rhode Island Historical Society and was an avid Civil War reenactor. Heather had almost completed her doctoral program in history at UNM. Her cremated remains will be interred in the family plot at St.Mary's Cemetery, Appleton, WI. and at the "Back Forty" near Mattoon, WI.
