Hazel J. Romero

Hazel Romero, age 60, of Bernalillo was called home to our Lord on Thursday, March 19, 2015. She is survived by her love and companion of 23 years, Paul Aguilar; daughters, Vanessa Gutierrez (Joey), Michelle Castro and Andrea Romero; grandchildren, Alcario, Daniel, Marisa and Felicia; and sister, Sherri Royce. She is also survived by her nephews, niece, many special aunts, uncles and close friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, James L. and Emily Hedrick; brothers, James A. Hedrick and Bruce Hedrick. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Alameda Baptist Church, 8818 2nd St. NW. Interment will follow at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
