Hazel I. Deme

Hazel, of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at the Anna Kaseman Hospice Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born October 23, 1917 in Springfield, Massachusetts to Hugh J. Reilly and Grace M. Reilly. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Deme. She is survived by her two sons, J. Howard Deme, his wife, Carol Lynn Deme, and Alan P. Deme; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren - all residents of Albuquerque. She met her husband-to-be at WBRY in Waterbury, Connecticut. Besides being a mother and housewife, she assisted her husband John in establishing and operating several radio and television stations in Connecticut and New Mexico. Cremation has taken place. Ennichement takes place at Sunset Memorial Park.
