Harry Orville Elston, lll

Harry O. Elston, III, age 73, beloved spouse, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 31, 2023, at home surrounded by his children in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born in Seymour, IN on September 13, 1949, son of the late Harry Elston II and Mary Eggersman Rogers. He is survived by his spouse, Suzanna Sandoval; son, Todd Elston; daughters, Jaci Custer (and Mike), Lauren Elston and Leah Elston. He is also survived by brothers, Larry (and Patty) Elston of Cambridge, OH, Barry Elston and Kevin Rogers (and Tonya) of Indiana; sisters, Donna (and Jim) Spencer of Colorado and Patty Bentz of Indiana; three grandchildren, Jacob Custer, Rowan and Harper Elston, and former spouses, Paulette Alquist and Sherryl Trump.

Harry graduated Indiana University with a master's in business which led to a successful career in computer sales with Sun Microsoft and HP. His career allowed him to travel the world and eventually settling in New, Mexico. He loved the wind in his face, horsepower, and the freedom of the open road or water. An avid boater and water skier, with many weekends spent on lake Cumberland with his family to his love for his Harly Davidson motorcycles. He enjoyed long rides on his Harley, IU basketball, rock 'n roll music like the Eagles and Pink Floyd. His other passions included his love for cats, gardening, the color red, and traveling. He was a loving father and devoted grandpa to his three grandchildren who he adored more than anything else in this world.

A graveside memorial service will be held Friday, September 15th, 2023, at 11:30 a.m., at Riverview Cemetery, 1603 Shields Ave, Seymour IN 47274, with a reception to follow at St. Josephs's Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Harry's name to the American Cancer Society.
