Harold Eugene Tidenberg (March 28, 1927 - April 30, 2022) demonstrated to all how to live life to its fullest. His positive and 'can do' attitude never wavered a bit, even right up until his last breath. He was the son of Las Vegas, New Mexico ranchers, a WWII Navy veteran, attended UNM and was a lifelong Lobo booster, an avid big-game hunter, a long-time businessman in Albuquerque, and a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Harold was a true adventurer who traveled to more than 100 countries during his 95 years. The stories he told-what great new places he saw, people he met (and remained friends with throughout his life), a village he'd feed from one of his hunts, deep-sea fishing expeditions, and lounging on a Mexican beach with a margarita in his hand. Anyone who knew Harold would ask "where in the world is Harold this week?" because he was always seeking his next adventure. He is deeply loved by so many. Survived by his wife, Diana (Shaggy) Pappan, his children (Connie & Dan Shelton, Sherri & Roger Bowers, and Rusty Tidenberg), his grandchildren (Stephanie, Brandon, Jennifer, and John), and his great grandchildren (Ashley, Carlie, Eva, Andrew and Nathan). There are no words to express the tremendous loss of such a true gentleman, friend, and loved one, but there is solace in knowing that he joins many special people who have passed before him and is even now taking them along on his next adventure.
