Guadalupe (Lupe) Chavez, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at the age of 87.
Lupe was born April 28, 1934 in Mountainair, NM and graduated from Mountainair High School. In her final years, Lupe was lovingly cared for by her daughters and caregiver, Susie, for whom the family is forever grateful. Lupe is survived by her devoted husband of 69 years, William; her sister, Oralia Chavez; her daughters, and their spouses, Martha (TJ), Sandra (John), Debra, and Cynthia (Jorge); her grandchildren, and their spouses, Alayne (Joe), Julia (Joe), Jonathan (Coty), Brendon, Anastasia, Christian, Phoenix and William; as well as great-grandchildren, Dexter, Zoe and Jack.
