Gregory Dean Garrecht

Gregory Dean Garrecht, 61, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018. He was born April 14,

1957 in Englewood, NJ. He moved to Albuquerque at the age of six with his family.

He spent many happy days skiing, playing baseball and tennis. He loved spending many fun times at the family vacation home in the Durango area.

Greg was critically injured on a skip trip at the age of 20. He attended APS and studied at UNM for two years before his accident. Helping to build his own home was a challenge as well as a thrill. He enjoyed his time spent in a number of capacities at the Bob Garrecht Plumbing Supply.

Greg was preceded in death by his older brother, Rob. He is survived by his mom and dad as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Greg will be terribly missed by many relatives and friends.

Graveside Services will take place in Oklahoma at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in Greg’s memory to PBS or a charity of your choice.
