Grayson D. Ramsey, 100, a lifelong resident of Grants, NM, died Saturday, October 24, 2015. He was a loving husband, father, and dedicated community leader and WWII veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dee Dee Vidal Ramsey; wife, Connie Grieco Ramsey; and son, Steve Ramsey. He is survived by his son, Pete Ramsey and wife Sandy; and daughters, Nina Voigt and husband Chuck of Grants, NM and Kay Milton and husband John of Charleston SC; as well as eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild. He is also survived by his brother, William R. Ramsey of Sun Lakes, AZ; and two stepchildren, Corinne Grieco Collins and husband Dan, and Tony Grieco and wife Pam all of Santa Fe, NM.
Services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 400 Nimitz Dr., Grants, NM. A reception will immediately follow the service at La Ventana Steak House. A private burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cibola General Hospital, 1423 E. Roosevelt, Grants New Mexico.
