Grace Rose

Grace Rose, age 95, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025, in Albuquerque, NM. She was born on December 22, 1929, in Waukegan IL, to Max and Etta Ward. She lived most of her life in Waukegan and move to NM in 2002. She enjoyed knitting, bingo, and mahjong. She is survived by her three children: sons, Louis and wife, Beverly Russell of Santa Fe and Bernard and wife, Kim of Downs, Il; daughter, Roberta and companion Gabriel Lovato of Albuquerque. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Jennifer Lachermeier, Erik Rose, and Michael Rose, and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at FRENCH -Lomas on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Grace will be laid to rest with her husband, Abby at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Grace's name to Project Linus for the benefit of the Albuquerque chapter or any local non-profit health organization.
