Grace Elizabeth Hults

Grace Elizabeth Hults, wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend left to be with our Lord on Thursday, October 26, 2017. Grace, daughter of Myrtle and James Rutherford Moorefield (both deceased) and wife of Joseph F. Hults Sr. (deceased) was born November 23, 1922, in Nashville, Tennessee. Grace moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1960 where she worked for the Fraternal Order of Police and retired after many years of service. She moved to Orlando, Florida in 1983 following the death of her husband. She eventually resided at the Ospery Lodge in Taveres, Florida.

Grace was preceded in death by daughter, Nancy Catherine Jackson and son, James William Hults.

Grace is survived by her daughters Sandra M. Cirillo (Larry Cirillo) of Lake Mary, Florida, Dr. Vicky Lester (James Lester) of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ann Hults of Vallejo, California, and son Joseph F. Hults Jr. of Lake Alfred, Florida.

Grace has many grandchildren including Joseph W. Hults, James F. Hults, Jeremy Vassalo, Andrea Lester Young and Jaime Lester Hayden, and she has 6 great grandchildren.

Grace loved her crossword puzzles, eating out, shopping, and trips to the beauty parlor. She enjoyed dancing. In her younger years, she and her husband Joseph (the “love” of her life) quickly captured everyone’s attention, clearing the dance floor, as they did the “jitter bug” and other 20th century “swing” dances with perfect coordination and style. She was easily recognized by her trademark hats with brightly colored artificial flowers in the brim. The family has requested private services.
