Gloria was born in California and grew up in El Paso, Texas where she met Ricardo.  They were married in 1959 and celebrated 60 years of marriage this past June. Most of their married life was spent in Albuquerque but they also lived in Spain and Germany for 6 years.  While abroad, she traveled extensively throughout France, Italy, and Belgium visiting numerous religious sites, enjoying all of the customs and cuisine of Europe.

She sang in the Spanish Choir at Risen Savior and Annunciation Catholic churches. She also loved to paint and draw and was an avid art historian.

Gloria lived a full life surrounded by family and friends.
