Gloria Oma Martinez (Lujan), 77, was born to Rogaciano and Antonia Lujan on April 4, 1938 in Pasturta, NM; passed away peacefully on June 21, 2015, following complications from congestive heart failure. Gloria is preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Trinidad. Gloria is survived by her four daughters, Monica McComas and husband, Randy, of Albuquerque, and their children, Joshua and Shannon; Lisa Kreager and husband, Mike, of Grand Rapids, MI, and their children Rachel and Claudia; Nanci Davis and husband, Gary, of Denver, CO, and their children, Dillon and Megan; and Carmen Mares of Albuquerque, and her sons, Joseph and William. She is also survived by her sister, Vickie Gutierrez; and brothers, Roger Lujan and Henry Lujan; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A graduate of Albuquerque High School in 1957, she spent the majority of her youth in the Martineztown neighborhood. Gloria was actively involved in the M&M chapter of the Red Hat Society, where she served on the royal court. Gloria enjoyed her grandchildren and participated in as many events and games as possible. Everyone she knew was greeted with a loving smile and hug; whether an acquaintance or life-long friend. A Rosary will be said in honor of Gloria on Tuesday evening, June 23, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, June 24, 2015, 8:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church, 2621 Vermont St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Roadrunner Food Bank, 5840 Office Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109, in Gloria's name.
