Glenna Fay Stallard

Stallard, Glenna Fay On April 27, 2015, our Lord Jesus gently took Glenna Fay Stallard to be with him. She was born in Red Jacket, WV to Grover Cleveland Jones, Sr. and Dot Jones on August 22, 1934. Her parents and her two brothers, Robert Jones and Grover Jones, Jr. preceded her in death. Glenna married Jerrel Lee Stallard in West Virginia on December 2, 1951 and is survived by him. Jerrel and Glenna shared most of their 63 years together in Grants and Albuquerque, NM, but cherished West Virginia roots and family. She is survived by four children born into that faithful union. Jerrel and Glenna's precious daughter, Cheryl Lynn Stallard, lives in Albuquerque. Their three sons are Ernest Michael Stallard, Malcolm Craig Stallard and Grover Lee Stallard, and their wives, Karen, Carol, and Rebekah (Becky) are Glenna and Jarrel's treasured daughters by marriage. Glenna is also survived by six granddaughters, Dr. Stacey Crandall, Michelle Freerking, Denise Stallard, Dr. Joanna Linsteadt, Jolene Stallard and Janell Stallard; and by two grandsons, Jason Sloan and David Plumley. She was blessed with time to enjoy her many great-grandchildren. A private funeral will be held this week, and a memorial service in Albuquerque will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2015, 5:00 p.m., at Triumph Centre, 7800 Holbrook St. NE. In lieu of flowers or other acknowledgements, the family asks you to consider Glenna's abiding affection for the children at St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
