Glen Edward Luttrell, 85, passed away Friday, May 14 after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Big Fork, Arkansas on May 20, 1935, to Jake and Beulah Luttrell. He was raised in Oklahoma City, OK, and has lived in Albuquerque, NM since 1960. He owned Chaparral Construction Co., building custom homes in Glenwood Hills and throughout Albuquerque, as well has many commercial properties. He later owned several Subway Sandwich franchises. He was proceeded in death by his parents, his brother, Ronald Luttrell and his daughter, Terry Curtis. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Beverly Luttrell; daughters, Linda McLachlan (Mike) and Connie Crosby (David); sister-in-law, Tina Trujillo (Andres); brother-in-law, Ken Flanagan (Vi); son-in-law, Alan Curtis; grand-children, Gerald Byrd (Sara), Jodie Lord, Erin Gruen (Zach), and Cody and Clay Crosby; six great-grandchildren and special niece and nephew, Robin Kendzie (Brian) and Eric Stoneking (Aubrey). He was a man of great character and was a role model to all that knew him. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 18, a visitation will be held from 8:00-10:00 a.m. with a service to follow at 10:00 a.m. at French-Wyoming with Pastor Steve Stucker officiating. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. A Reception will be held following the burial at 12:00 p.m. at French-Wyoming Pallbearers will be Gerald Byrd, Cody Crosby, Clay Crosby, Mike McLachlan, David Crosby and Eric Stoneking. In lieu of flowers, the family request you make a donation in Glen's name to your favorite charity.
