BARBER, GLEN EDMUND TEDOur beloved Glen went to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, Christ the King Day, November 25th, 2012. He is survived by Annette, his wife; four children, Ryan, Shannon, Amanda, and Sabrina. He was blessed with two granddaughters, Lillianna and Makayla; sisters, Arlene and husband, John, Eva and husband, Mike; and numerous nephews, nieces, and friends. Glen was preceded in death by his infant son, Richard; his father, Glen; and mother, Dottie; his brother; Richard; infant twin brothers, John and Joseph; and his sister, Mary Ann. Glen was a 6 year Naval Veteran serving our country as a nuclear submarine seaman. He enjoyed working 20 years at General Mills as a CMT/Mechanical Support Tech. Glen was on the Emergency Response Team at work and he also served on the Community Partner Council providing donations to nonprofit organizations helping the community through General Mills. Glen was a kind, gentle, and compassionate soul. Glen enjoyed traveling, golf, gardening, and most of all, spending time with his granddaughters. Glen's celebration of life will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery, Monday, December 3, 2012 at 9:00 am followed by a memorial church service at 4:00 pm at Christ the King Anglican Church/Adat Yeshua, 529 Jefferson NE, Albuquerque. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Glen's memory to Christ the King Anglican church for Missionary Outreach, PO Box 35549, Albuquerque, NM. 87176-5549.
