Gladys Hoagland

Age 92, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 23, 2012. She is survived by her grandchildren, Donna Valerio, Daniel W. Hoagland, Jeffrey Page, Karen Smith, Greg Page, Justin Page and Patrick Hoagland; 15 great grandchildren; siblings, Kenneth Scott, and Gloria Hopf. Mrs. Hoagland was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; her son, Donald; her daughter, Barbara Page and parents, Michael and Amy Scott. Gladys was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. Gladys spent over 32 years as a telephone operator and manager for Mountain Bell and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of New Mexico and the Elks Lodge of Albuquerque. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at French-Lomas. Friends may visit starting at 6:00 p.m. A Prayer Service will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September, 28, 2012 at French-Lomas. Interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
