Gladys Mary Gaudette

Gladys Mary Gaudette, wife, mother, grandma and mamaw, entered eternal life with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, August 10, 2020.

Gladys was born to Harold and Margaret Thomas in Greenfield, MA. She met the love of her life, Paul, at a local dance hall (she was a Greenfield gal and he was a Bondsville boy) and they married in 1960.

They moved to Farmington, NM in 1964 where Gladys was very active in her community and in Sacred Heart Catholic Church and school. She and Paul loved to dance, and if there was music on, they were dancing. Glady’s worked as an office manager for Jesco Inc. and Southwest Power Tool. She retired once her last child finished college. She spent her retired years playing cards, knitting, throwing dinner parties, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Paul Gaudette; children, Brian and Tammy Gaudette of Las Vegas, NV, Darla and Jeff Platt of Rockwall, TX, and Ron and Michelle Gaudette of Rio Rancho, NM; grandchildren, Evan, Rylee, Sienna, and Paul; and her sister, Margaret Whitcomb of Providence, RI.

Services will be held at a later time. Donations can be made in her name to Sacred Heart Catholic School, 414 N. Allen Ave, Farmington, NM 87401.
