Gladys Belle Buza

Gladys Belle Buza, 91, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died comfortably in her home Monday, January 17, 2022. She is survived by her daughters: Vickie Gasiorowski of Greendale, WI, Veronica Moorman of Roanoke, VA, and Valerie Brook of Roanoke, VA, her sister, Mrs. Harold (Nellie) Parker of Bedford, VA as well as many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Buza was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Anna Belle Niday Overstreet, her son, Leonard Buza Jr., her daughter, Virginia Buza, and her grandson Brian Brook.

Gladys was a mom who loved cooking, going on walks to catch up and spend time with her neighbors, dancing, eating lobster tails, getting together to drink wine with friends, and her favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers. She was a member of the Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, February 22nd at 12:45pm at Santa Fe National Cemetery where she will be reunited with her husband, Leonard B. Buza Sr. Friends and family may visit French Funerals and Cremations on Lomas and Eubank to support the family on Monday, February 21st from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m (10500 Lomas Blvd NE Albuquerque, NM 87112).
