Gioacchino "Jack" Coraci

Gioacchino “Jack” Coraci, age 84, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away in his home on July 25, 2018.

Jack was born in Alcamo, Sicily, and relocated to the United States in 1960. Soon after, Jack met the love of his life, Rose, and began their incredible marriage of 57 years.

Jack is survived by his wife, Rose; daughter, Rosemarie Romero; son, Jack Coraci; grandchildren, Nicole, Matthew, Ryan and Miranda; and great-grandchildren, Alexis and Mariah.

Jack and Rose had a successful career as owners of Mamma Rosa’s Italian Restaurant, which was located in Albuquerque and Moriarty, NM. Throughout the twenty years of restaurant business, Jack worked upward of twelve-hour days, 6-7 days a week. His hard work ethic and years of sacrifice was for the one purpose of taking care of his family.

Jack’s family is extremely grateful to everyone who provided encouraging words, visits, and assistance over the past several months.

A viewing will be held at FRENCH – Wyoming on Friday, July 27, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Rosary will then be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018, 9:00 a.m., at Shrine of St. Bernadette Church, 11509 Indian School Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
