Gillie Joe Castillo

Gillie Castillo, 84, Our Family Rock, proud Navy Seaman, passed away September 6, 2018. Gillie was known for his genuine love for God and family, dedicated to his job and loyalty to his family, and friends. He is survived by his wife, Cathy of 63 years; and his children, Helen (Everett) Uchiyama, Martha (Rudy) Salazar, Patricia Castillo, Gina (Marcus) Greenwood, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Castillo, Natalie Castillo; his beloved 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Virginia (Dewey) Buck. He also leaves many cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews. Viewing on Tuesday, September 11, at St. Anne Catholic Church,1400 Arenal Rd SW, Albuquerque, NM 87105 at 5 p.m. A Rosary will follow at 6 p.m. A Mass on Wednesday, September 12, at St. Anne Catholic Church at 9 a.m. Burial will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
