Gilbert Lujan

Gilbert Lujan, age 71, beloved brother and son, was called to his eternal resting place on Thursday, December 26, 2024. He entered this world on July 29, 1953, in Capitan, NM, born to Abeslin and Augustina Lujan. 

He is survived by his sisters, Betty Lujan, Cristine Lujan, Lucy Sanchez, Patricia Abbott (John) and Sue Maestas; his brother, Leo Lujan (Eileen L.) and his loving nieces and nephews. 

Gilbert loved billiards (Pool), he enjoyed traveling and was an avid Lobo fan.

The family is requesting your presence to celebrate Gilberts life.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Moose Lodge, 2121 Edith Blvd NE Albuquerque 87102.

The family is requesting UNM Lobo attire. We will be serving Gilbert's favorite meal: sub sandwiches, chips, pork and beans.
