Gertrude Fern Griego

Our beloved Mother, Gertrude Fern Griego, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 28, 2016. We, her family, are grateful to have been with her as she went through the final stage of preparing for her journey that, as she believed and embraced, was to return to her Heavenly Father, and to be reunited with her beloved husband, Thomas E. Griego "Tommy." Tommy was the love of her life and they were married 70 years. Our Mother is survived by her children: Trudi and spouse Gary Pals, Marjory and spouse Leroy Martinez, Thomas Emil "Sonny" Griego, Marie Harrison; and her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
On behalf of our Mother, Fern, we would like to thank the many special caregivers and thoughtful friends who kindly attended to our Mother's needs over the past six years.
Friends may visit Saturday, July 9, 2016, 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Entombment will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016, 4:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
