Geraldine "Gerri" Gurule

Gerri Gurule of Cimarron, New Mexico lived a long rewarding life. She passed away peacefully on Friday May 20, 2016. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Manuel Tony Gurule, of 50 years; her daughter, Shirley Leonards; and her son in law, Robert Garber. She is survived by her sister, Laura Pacheco; her daughter, Barbara Garber; her son Anthony Gurule and wife Cyndi; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 20 great-great grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. She spent her life working, caring for her family and friends, and volunteering in the community. Gerri is dearly loved and will be greatly missed. We will be celebrating her life on Thursday, May 26, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at St. John XXIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE., with visitation from 10:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
