Geraldine Albright

Geraldine Cathy Albright, age 76 of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away March 12th, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Geri was born January 23rd, 1949 in Gary, Indiana to John Kepchar and Ernestine Kepchar. Geri graduated from Lew Wallace High School in 1967, then went on to earn an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Park College and a Masters Degree from The University of Illinois at Springfield in Gerontology. Geri married Wayne Albright on May 7th, 1977 by Father Fish at St. Marks on The Mesa Epispicol Church celebrating 48 years this May. Geri worked as an Ombudsman with Sandia National Laboratory and retired in 2000. Geri ran the Rape Crisis Center in Otero County as well as volunteered at St. Josephs Hospital doing hospice work. Geraldine loved her sweet dogs, Bhakti and Shaunda as well as Nizhoni and Charlie. Remaining to cherish Geri's memory are her devoted husband, Wayne, her two daughters TracyLynn (Albright) Pater and Vanessa (Albright) Helton, and grandchildren Megan, Evan and Ian. Geri is survived by her brother Dennis Kepchar. Preceding Geri in death are her parents John Kepchar and Ernestine Kepchar and brother John Kepchar. A Memorial Service will be held March 24th, 2025 at FRENCH - Wyoming at 9am. Interment will take place at 1pm at Sante Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choosing.
