Jerry was preceded in death by his parents George and Sybil Brown and five precious Schnauzers. After high school, he enlisted and served in the United States Air Force, having been stationed in Okinawa and stateside, and was honorably discharged as an Airman First Class. Jerry was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2004 and was cared for at home as the disease progressed. He fought his illness with great courage and determination and died peacefully at home. The family would like to thank the care givers, Kevin, Carol, Donna and the staff from Amber Care: Dr. Goldman, the aides and nurses, for their teamwork in caring for him.
