Georgina D. Gutierrez

Georgina D. Gutierrez, 65, passed away peacefully at home in Bernalillo, NM on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. She was the wife of Leroy Stanley Gutierrez. They shared 47 unforgettable years together. She was born on Wednesday, June 3, 1953 in Albuquerque, NM to Julian and Rosemary Anaya. Gina will be remembered for her strength, lovingness, and her ability to forgive. Gina lived life with her arms wide open and loved unconditionally until her last breath.  She is survived by her husband, Leroy Stanley Gutierrez; children, Manuelito Gutierrez, Julian Gutierrez, Fredricka Baca, Leroy Gutierrez, Roger Gutierrez, Anthony Gutierrez, and Charles Gutierrez; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind beloved siblings, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Rosemary Anaya; as well as her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Santos and Bobbie Gutierrez.

A Rosary will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2019, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 S. Camino Del Pueblo Bernalillo, NM. Burial will take place on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at 11:15 a.m., Santa Fe National Cemetery.
