Georgia K. Tenorio, 67, of Las Vegas NM, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 4th 2016. She was born March 4th, 1949 to Arturo Tenorio of Las Vegas. Her passion was cooking, her grandchildren and enjoyed occasional trips to the casino.
She worked for 21 years for the New Mexico Behavior Health Institute where she retired in September of 2015.
Georgia is preceded in death by her grandmother, Ofelia Rivera; sister, Mary Ann Tenorio, and father, Arturo Tenorio. She is survived by three children, Dennis Maes, Marina Tenorio-Newman, husband, Gavin, and Fermin Vallejos; five grandchildren, Daniel Maes, Xavier Vallejos, Marisa Tenorio-Newman, Aidan Tenorio-Newman, and Hailey Tenorio-Newman; one great-grandchild, Danica Maes; brother, Arturo Tenorio, Jr.; two nephews, George Apodaca and wife Jeannette, Xavier Duran and wife, Amy and one niece, Adriana Martinez.
Georgia was loved by many. She was kind to everyone she came across and loved to feed her family. Her grandchildren always knew Grandma would have treats for them. She gave all she had to raise her children with love and did the same for her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
