Georgia Evelyn (Marquez) Hamilton

Georgia Hamilton 78, died Thursday, July 6, 2023. She was born Friday, March 16, 1945 in Albuquerque, NM the daughter of Mabel Gonzales and Porfilio Marquez. She was a very strong willed and outspoken woman who cared very much for her family. She was one of the best cooks who could cook and bake. She loved to give and share. We Love you MOM!
She is preceded by her parents and her husband, Ronald Hamilton.
Surviving are her three children, daughter, Leah Saavedra; and two sons, Gary Saavedra (girlfriend, Laura Lea) and Eric Saavedra (daughter in law, Elisa). Her five grandchildren, Nicole Lardner(Michael), Nevin LaBo (Alison), Miranda Saavedra, Cierra Saavedra, and Evan Saavedra. And her four great-grandchildren, Novalee Lardner, Lucille LaBo, Marcee Lardner, and Jamison LaBo. Her brother, Robert Marquez and sister-in-law, Maria. And her nieces, nephews, and cousins. And all her friends.

A Rosary will be at 8:15 a.m. followed by the Mass Service at 9:00 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2023 at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Josephs Dr NW, 87120.
