After 89 years of life, George "Popo" Millus left the wide world of sports on January 14th, 2013. An avid sports fan who enjoyed the Lobos, the Eagles, baseball, and horse racing will be greatly missed by his family, friends, his dog "Scooter", and the network of ESPN. George was born on June 15, 1923 in Elizabeth, New Jersey where he grew up. His family had emigrated from Lithuania and he was proud of his heritage. After high school he entered the military in which he honorably served his country for 13 years in the Air Force. For the majority of his career he worked for ACF and GE until he retired. George was a fun loving man who was always ready with something comical to say to anyone who would listen. He loved his family and friends, a good cigar, the great outdoors, a good cigar, Las Vegas, a good cigar, going to lunch on Fridays, and his dogs. He is survived by his son; 2 grandsons; 5 great-granddaughters; 5 great-great grandchildren and his niece. A Memorial service will be held, Saturday, January 19, 2013, 5:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.
