George Janetakos

George Bill Janetakos died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, September 16, 2023. He was born to William Janetakos and Niki Manolakou Janetakos in Albuquerque, New Mexico on March 15, 1939. His parents participated in the founding of the St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Albuquerque. George was raised in the Nob Hill neighborhood, graduated from Highland High School and served a short stint in the Navy.

A Trisagion service, followed by the funeral will be held Friday, September 22, 2023, 9:45 a.m., at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 308 High St. SE. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. George Greek Orthodox Church. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery.
