In Loving Memory of George Garcia

George Garcia, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on October 04, 2023 at the age of 66 years old. He entered this world on July 25, 1957 in Tierra Amarilla, NM.

George is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Tammy Garcia, who stood by his side through life's journey. He leaves behind his devoted daughter, Christyna Garcia, and cherished family members, including his brothers Herman Garcia and James (Roberta Garcia), his sister Eva (John Higgins), and sister Jacki Garcia. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law Mike (Stefanie Harms), Monte (Alma Harms), Irwin (Debbie Harms), Ron Weber, and his sisters-in-law Rhonda Gonzales, and Rose Roybal Harms.

George's wide circle of family and friends extends to many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and his faithful companion, Louie, his beloved dog.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Anita C. Garcia, father-in-law Courtney (Rachel Harms), mother-in-law Aloma (Gil Lopez), his son Nicholas Garcia, his sister Esther Rivera, brothers-in-law Henry Rivera, and Ronnie Gonzales, sisters-in-law Claudia Weber, and Mary Lou Garcia, nephews Cole Canon and Robert Rivera.

George had a deep passion for watching sports, particularly The University of New Mexico Lobos, Las Vegas Raiders, and Dallas Cowboys, which was his son's favorite team. He loved listening to music and attending concerts. He also loved watching Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.

George Garcia touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

May George's soul rest in eternal peace, and may his memory live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

The viewing, rosary, and mass will be held on October 12, 2023 at 9 AM at Queen of Heaven Church. The burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park and a reception will follow at National Hispanic Cultural Center.
