George Willis Andresen, Jr. was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He left this world suddenly on Monday, May 8, 2023, at age 74.
He was born to George and Lena Andresen on Sunday, November 21, 1948, in Kansas City, KS. He had two older brothers (Bob and Joe Pokrywka) who, along with his service in the United States Marine Corps, helped shape his life - a life filled with service, honor, faith and friendship.
George's professional life in the printing business forged long-lasting relationships with those he worked with. He loved sports, potato chips, cherry licorice and kitchen gadgets - but above all, he loved his family, his faith, his friends and his dogs.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 52 years, Elizabeth; the joy of his life, his only daughter Shannon (Brent); his greatest pride - his three grandchildren, Braden, Avery and Logan; many other loved family and friends, and his dearest dog Stella.
A Funeral service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 (Rosary at 10:00 a.m.), at Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Animal Humane New Mexico, a cause near and dear to George's heart.
