Gene Glover

Gene Glover, 71, beloved father, was called to his eternal resting place on July 20, 2017. He entered this world on September 1, 1945 in Streator, IL, born to Walter and Ruby Glover. He is survived by his son, Carl Glover; daughter-in-law, Dana Glover; and grandsons, Jack and Connor Glover.

Gene worked as a principal in the state of Illinois and had a tremendous impact on thousands of kids and colleagues throughout his career. Gene was an accomplished author as he penned a book entitled, "Growing Up in a Small Town in Illinois" which served as a personal memoir and autobiography. He loved reading and rating books, playing the piano, and watching his grandsons play hockey. His passion, enthusiasm for life and infectious personality will be dearly missed.

Services will be held Saturday, August 5, 2017, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH – Wyoming.  And in Gene's own words, "In lieu of flowers or memorials, please save your money."
