On November 3, 2019, Ed McNabb, age 79, joyously entered the gates of Heaven. Ed was a lover of God, his wife, his family and his church. He was well-known throughout Albuquerque as a successful Christian businessman whose honesty and integrity were unparalleled.
Ed was also an avid sports enthusiast, who proudly shared his gift of photography with the community. He was dedicated to supporting and encouraging young athletes, and acted as a mentor too many of them. He loved the Lord Jesus Christ with all of his heart and worked hard to build the Kingdom of God by sharing His good news and setting Godly examples.
As a loving and faithful husband, father, and business leader, he also dedicated himself to serving others. Whether it was through his work with State Farm, at a basketball game, at church or with his family, he strove to show the Lord’s presence in his life by his actions. He did this with sincere joy and enthusiasm, which led to his desire to bless others with his extravagant generosity.
Ed was a true gentleman, trusted friend and revered advisor who will be missed by all who knew him. His family has peace knowing that he is in the presence of the Lord, which is something he truly looked forward to.
Ed is survived by his wife, Karen; his son, Christopher; daughter-in-law, Cheryl; his daughter, Kimberly; his grandchildren, Miriah, Hannah, Rebekah, Joel, Timothy, Katherine, Ashley and Jordan; as well as his three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Greg, and many other family members who loved him dearly.
