Gayle Falk Finch, age 66, of Albuquerque, NM, beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022.
She will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Chicago-land native, she attended North Shore Country Day School, the University of Oregon, and received her master's degree from the Chicago Medical School. She met her husband Robert during his father's annual Passover Seder at the Standard Club in downtown Chicago. They married in 1991 and moved to Lafayette, IN where they began their family. They moved to Albuquerque in 2004.
A prominent member of many Parent-Teacher Associations, Gayle was active in her children's lives and schools. An avid baker, she could always be counted on to bring homemade desserts to parties and after-school functions. Besides cooking she enjoyed shopping, making pottery, attending art shows, and spoiling her many pets. In later years she enjoyed coffee, milk, and chocolate while reading a library book every day.
An incredible wife, mother, sister, and daughter, she will be missed very much by her family and friends. Gayle was the daughter of the late Dr. Marshall and Marilyn (Levoff) Falk of Palm Beach, FL, and sister of the late Ben Scott Falk of Las Vegas, NV. Gayle is survived by her husband, Robert Finch; her daughter, Layla Finch of Dallas TX; and her son, Grant Finch of Eugene, OR.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 10th, 2022, in Budagher Hall at Bosque School, 4000 Bosque School Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120 .
