Gary Lee Watson

Gary L. Watson was reunited with his parents, Oliver and Frances, on August 14, 2021. His happy childhood made for a happy adulthood. He graduated from Tularosa High School in 1967 after playing football, running track, playing in the band and with his buddies in a rock and roll group. He attended NMSU majoring in business and went on to work at Hughes Aircraft as a finance manager and Honeywell as a systems analyst. Gary dabbled in many interests; ski instructor, diving, movie stuntman, water skiing, volunteer fireman, restaurant owner, raising livestock, sailing, camping, cooking, and gardening. He was seriously good at golf, guitar, scuba diving, and eating. Gary made friends easily and his lifelong deep bonds with his buddies made life worth living. He will be greatly missed by his lucky circle of friends: Dean, Patty, Greg, Jerry, Judy, Don, and Bill. He left a hole that cannot be filled in the heart of his wife, Susan.
