Gary Tsosie

Gary Tsosie, 34, beloved son, passed from death into a life of eternity with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, March 10, 2017.
Gary loved the outdoors, the snow, and mountains; thus, lived in the state of Colorado for a time and enjoyed every moment of it. He was young and had an active lifestyle. He loved to go running, swimming, hiking up the trails or mountains, hunting with the men, and camping in the outdoors.
He also enjoyed cooking and grilling. He loved children and spent time with his nieces and nephews playing video games and basketball. He cherished his dogs and spent time with them as well.
Some of Gary's famous quotes were, "Don't be scared, don't be scared". "I'm the coolest uncle, right?" "Don't tell me; show me." "O-see!" "Let's go halfers".
His hobbies were shooting pool, watching martial arts movies and football as he was a big Colts fan. Hobbies also included playing the acoustic guitar, and would sing when he was alone. He also had a talent to play the drums, the bass guitar, and the keyboard was also of interest to him.
He loved Math and technology so he was very smart and intelligent, but strong willed. He was clean cut, always dressed up with style, and was a perfectionist. He was artistic and always ready for a challenge. He did this by reading and researching to better himself in knowledge and education.
Ever since he was born, the enemy tried to take him as he was hospitalized for a while. But God would not allow it. Instead, he started to follow dad's footsteps of being an evangelist at a very young age. He loved to travel as he would always go with dad all over the reservation to minister. He supported dad in prayer and as he grew older, he became a minister that preached the Word of God at Heavenly Creation Ministries, Inc. He enjoyed attending services, spending time in the Word, and memorizing scriptures.
Gary loved Jesus. He always trusted Jesus. He was always a giver at heart. He always made everyone laugh and had a contagious smile. He was caring, passionate, humble, and always put others before him. He loved to share and would take the jacket off his back, if need be, to help others. His compassion was for the homeless and prayed with them when he could.
His dream was to have a family of his own, to have a truck of his own, and to have a career that he loved. He never stopped dreaming. He had many friends and he was known as the "G-Unit".
And despite what suffering he went through, and what temptation and trials he faced, he became the prodigal son that came home. His last breath was repenting to the Lord and loving us. He ran the race and finished the course. He made it in the gates of heaven and now he awaits our arrival. In the meantime, he is cheering us on to finish our race. He is with our Maker and Father, the Lord God Almighty, and so will continue to run. Gary's work may be finished, but our work is not. So let us be encouraged and continue to press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Phil 3:14).
Gary was the youngest in the family and is survived by his parents, Phillip and Juanita Tsosie; sisters, Lovie Barrett, Fellina Johnson, and Jolene Tsosie; also brothers, Marvin, Felix and Torey Tsosie. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces, Cameron and David Barrett, Cassandra and Rachel Johnson, Melody Begay, Salome Tsosie, Dylan Gonzales, Shandi, Nikko, Seth and Ayden Gallegos.
