Gary Lee Gross

Gary Lee Gross, 80, of Albuquerque, NM, died peacefully at home in his sleep on March 17, 2024.

Gary was born in Boulder, Colorado in 1943 to Pete and Esther Gross, and grew up on a farm he hated in Maxwell, Nebraska. Gary grew up working on the family farm and when he was 8, he started working for other farms away from home every summer. At high school graduation, Gary was given the choice of either a new car or college tuition, and he took the money to attend Parks School of Business in Denver. While in college, he met his wife Shannon and started working for General Electric Supply Company (GESCO) which started a 40 year career in the electrical business. GESCO took him from Denver to Albuquerque to Stockton CA to Salt Lake City and back to Albuquerque where he would eventually retire. Gary loved his family but maybe is boat and RV a little more, both made him proud.

Gary is survived by his wife Shannon, 2 sons, 5 grandchildren and great grandchild. Rick [Lori] (grandson Lee) and Jeff [Lisa], 4 grandchildren (Ryan, Andrew, Riley, Jason [Rachel] and great grandchild Walker).
