Gary Shean Dannenbaum

Gary Shean Dannenbaum, age 81, US Navy submarine service veteran, husband, father, and grandfather, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019. Gary was a longtime middle and high school teacher, as well as photographer, actor, and writer.

Gary is survived by his wife of 61 years, Karen; as well as his children, Richard and Ruth and their spouses, Lisa and Mike; and his grandchildren, Richard, Zachary, Damon, Chelsey, Desiree, Adrian, Caryn, Maia, Grace, Maddison; and great-grandchildren; as well as his sister, Corinne. He is also survived by his pets, Rags and Jake.

Services will be held Thursday, October 10, 2019, 2:00 p.m., at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain Rd. NE. Ennichement will follow immediately at Faith Lutheran Church columbarium. Because of his love for animals and children in need, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Watermelon Mountain Ranch, Animal Humane New Mexico, or Roadrunner Food Bank.
