Garry Karns, age 73, from Conchas Dam, NM, died peacefully in his sleep after a long battle with cancer. Garry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Helen; two daughters, Kimberly Brown and Michelle Whitmore and husband, George; and two grandchildren, Shelby Brown and Wesley Whitmore.
Garry and Helen lived 47 years in Albuquerque where Garry as a Furrs store manager, Keebler cookie route man and retired from Beck Office System where he was the maintenance manager and safety officer. He then moved to Conchas Dam in 2006 where he enjoyed gardening, boating and fishing.
Helen and family want to thank the staff at St. John Healthcare for the excellent care he received there.
