Age 94, died Thursday, February 13, 2014. He is survived by his son, Terry L. Santolla of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Nicole and Matthew; great grandchildren, Gregorgy and wife Ariana, Melissa, Alanah, Gabriele and great-great granddaughter, Isabella. He is also survived by his sisters, Libby, Rosa and many other family and dear friends, Mitch and Martha Hayes and Jacob Moran. Mr. Santolla was preceded in death by his wife, Claudine; his parents, Angelo and Martha Santolla; his brothers, Angelo, William and his sisters, Marie, Martha and Antoinette. Mr. Santolla served our country in the United States Army during WW II, was a member of the Episcopal Cathedral of St. John and worked for the Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe RailRoad as a chemist before retiring after 44 years. He was also a member of the American Legion, the Elks Club, the National American Railroad Veterans Employees and the American Chemical Association. Services will be Monday, February 24, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Lomas with burial following at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday, February 23, 2014, 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. at FRENCH. Memorial contributions may be made to the Elks Lodge Albuquerque, 2430 Centre Ave SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
